 Trapeze Plus FR – Technical Data Pack
Step 1: Connect to your channel or Universal bracket (ensuring it is in the ‘c’ or ‘n’ orientation) using the flange nut fixing.
Step 2: Feed the wire into the entry channel at the top of the Trapeze Plus FR hanger and then back out of the other side (allow >100mm tail wire). This will grip and lock the wire in place.
Step 3: Push down the end cap to allow adjustment up and down the wire
Step 4: Screw down the top to prevent accidental adjustment once installed.

Yes. Our Trapeze Plus FR is a fully fire tested wire hanger system, BRE tested to F120 and compliant with BS476 Part 20 and DIN4102 Part 2. It’s designed to maintain performance in high-temperature environments.

You can use it to suspend a wide range of building services including ductwork, cable containment, pipework, busbar, and heavy equipment. It’s also suitable for combined modules, offering flexibility across mechanical and electrical installations.

Trapeze Plus FR is significantly faster and easier to install. Unlike threaded rod, there’s no cutting or hot work required. The kits are lightweight, compact, and come pre-assembled with pre-cut wire, reducing time on site and improving health and safety. Plus, the system is fully adjustable, which helps reduce errors and rework.

We offer three sizes of Trapeze Plus FR kits, with working loads of 45 kg, 90 kg, and up to 225 kg per suspension point, all with a 5:1 safety factor. This makes it a robust solution for both light and heavy-duty applications.

Each kit includes your pre-cut and fused wire rope, your Trapeze Plus Hangers and your choice of substrate fixing (end fixing) to attach to your suspension point. Everything is boxed and ready to install, making on and off-site logistics and handling easy and efficient.
