Our Fire Rated Cable Hanger System Designed For Direct Suspension of Strut & Channel

At Gripple, we understand the pressure to deliver safe, compliant installations-fast. That’s why we created Trapeze Plus FR, a fire tested wire hanger system that simplifies the suspension of cable containment, ductwork, pipework, and 2D/3D modules.

Our fire rated cable hanger is BRE tested to F120 and meets the temperature requirements of BS476 Part 20 and DIN4102 Part 2. It’s engineered to perform in fire-critical environments, giving you peace of mind and proven performance.

Each kit includes a pre-cut, fire-resistant wire rope, your Trapeze hanger, and your choice of substrate fixing (end fixing). Everything you need for a quick, tool-light install. The wire feeds directly into the hanger, locking in place with our internal grip mechanism, and connects to our Gripple Universal Bracket to form a fire tested trapeze system.

With high working loads up to 225 kg and full adjustability, our fire tested cable hanger kits are the smart alternative to threaded rod. Saving time, reducing risk, and delivering professional results every time.

Step 1: Connect to your suspended item or service (fixing method different depending on chosen suspension variant)
Step 2: Feed the wire into the entry channel at the top of the Trapeze Plus FR hanger and then back out of the other side
Step 3: This then grips and locks the wire in place
Step 4: Push down the end cap to allow adjustment up and down the wire
Step 5: Screw down the thumbwheel at the top of the hanger to prevent accidental adjustment once installed.
