Masks & Moonlight Ball raises over £15k for local charities!

Date: 20 September 2025

We’re proud to share that our Masks & Moonlight charity ball has raised an incredible £15,105.57 for five fantastic charities: St Luke’s HospiceTeam Ted FoundationThornberry Animal SanctuaryParkinson’s UK, and Edale Mountain Rescue Team.

The event, held on 4th September, was organised and delivered by three of our graduate trainees – Madison Simmons, Alex Barker, and Oscar Devine-Wright – as part of the Gripple graduate scheme, where each cohort takes on the challenge of organising a major fundraising project. Their creativity and hard work brought customers, suppliers, and colleagues together for a night of elegance, fun, and community spirit.

Guests enjoyed live music, games, and entertainment, with highlights including a silent auction and Gripple’s largest-ever raffle. With over £3,500 worth of prizes generously donated by local businesses, the night was a true celebration of collaboration and generosity.

As a 100% employee-owned business, giving back to the community is at the heart of everything we do. The Masks & Moonlight Ball is a shining example of what we can achieve when we come together to support meaningful causes. Every penny raised makes a real difference, and I’d like to give special recognition to Madison, Alex, and Oscar for putting together an unforgettable evening that perfectly captured the Gripple spirit.
