Project Engineering & Design Support

Precision-engineered support for every stage of your project.

Smart Design Solutions for Complex Suspension Challenges

At Gripple, we provide specialist technical services designed to simplify complex suspension challenges. From detailed installation designs to BIM integration and savings analysis, our team ensures your project runs efficiently, safely, and within budget. Whether you’re a sub-contractor or Tier 1, we deliver solutions that save time, reduce waste, and optimise performance.

Installation Design Support

Our Technical Services team provides precise PDF mark-up designs for all M&E suspension systems, including electrical containment, pipework, ventilation, and lighting.

Submit your project drawings in .dwg or .pdf format, and receive fully annotated, costed designs, complete with bespoke suspension, bracket solutions and catenary layouts. Our service ensures you order exactly what you need, reducing waste, avoiding over-ordering, and helping you stay within budget.

Whether you’re a contractor or Tier 1, by optimising suspension layouts and minimising components, we also support faster, more efficient installations. Cutting down on labour time and associated costs across your project.

Savings Summaries

Our game changing solutions are all about savings, but we know quantifying that isn’t always easy. That’s why our team of technical engineers are on hand to help with pre and post-project savings calculations.

Using industry standard 3rd party verified data from Luckins, as well as TM65s and EPDs, our team can provide cost, labour, weight and embodied carbon savings.

Whether you need to evidence savings made post installation, or just want to see how much you could save before making a decision, we can help.

Load Calculations

Our technical services team are on hand to provide bespoke load calculations for your project, taking your suspended item or service weights into account. Delivered bespoke to you, we can provide either a written report or sectional visualisations if needed.

General Arrangement Drawings

We provide 2D General Arrangement drawings that clearly illustrate how Gripple systems suspend building services. These drawings include point load calculations, weight considerations, and fire rating requirements, ensuring your suspension solution is fully compliant, structurally sound, and tailored to your project’s specific needs.

Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Our Technical Services team can support BIM Engineers with the selection and placement of Gripple product Revit families to design in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650-2. A range of Revit families are available to download, and can be supported with live demonstrations of use where required.

By embedding Gripple bracketry into your model, you can pre-empt and reduce clashes, streamline installation, and generate accurate, zone-specific BOMs, minimising waste, CO₂ emissions, and delivery frequency. Our team can also provide 2D CAD details, datasheets, and online training, giving you the tools and confidence to deliver efficient, cost-effective suspension solutions on both public and private sector projects.

Training with Gripple

We offer dedicated training days at our Gripple / GLIDE House training centre in Sheffield. These sessions combine practical exercises, best practice guidance, and theory-based learning.

Held at our Glide House conferencing venue, training days include a freshly prepared lunch by our team of professional chefs. Just a stone’s throw from our global HQ and manufacturing centres, you’ll also have the opportunity to tour our factories and see first-hand how Gripple products are made and quality tested.
