Wire Suspension for Strut and Channel Trapeze or Direct Fixing to Equipment

Our UniGrip hangers are a versatile wire rope suspension system used to hang everything from HVAC units and ductwork to cable containment and multi-tiered trapeze.

Available in a range of variants, UniGrip works seamlessly with metal strut, channel and our Gripple Universal Bracket to create trapeze suspension brackets, delivering a faster, neater, and more flexible alternative to traditional threaded rod.

Unlike rod-and-strut suspension, UniGrip is supplied in compact, easy-to-handle kits, including pre-cut and fused wire rope and your choice of substrate fixings, ready to install straight from the box. Whether attaching directly to services or creating a strut trapeze hanger, UniGrip gives you the confidence of up to 360 kg working load per suspension point as well as the flexibility of tool-free height adjustment.

How it Works:

All our UniGrip products are simple to install, see an example of how they work below or download the technical data packs for full installation guidance.

Step 1: Connect to your suspended item or service (fixing method different depending on chosen suspension variant).
Step 2: Feed the wire into the entry channel at the top of the UniGrip and then back out of the other side. This then grips and locks the wire in place.
Step 3: Push down the end cap to allow adjustment up and down the wire.
Step 4: Screw down the top end cap to prevent accidental adjustment once installed.
