Charity and Community

A Force for Good.

It’s the Gripple way to do business differently – to share the benefits of sustainable growth with our customers, communities, and employee-owners.

Globally, we support a range of community initiatives and charitable causes every year. We allocate a minimum of 1% pre-tax profit to charity every year, plus 0.5% on environmental initiatives, and a further 0.5% to fuel the employee ownership sector. Our support includes charitable donations, fundraising activities, and volunteering.

Our Commitment:

Supporting Local

We’re all about giving back to the communities that we live and work in. Our donations and community efforts are all about lending a hand to our neighbours. That way, we’re making a real difference where it counts.

Everyone Gets Involved

We’re big on getting our team members involved in giving back. Whether it’s pitching in with community projects or raising funds for the causes we choose to support as a company, we’re all about making a difference together. Plus, we’re not just talking the talk – we’ll also match our employees’ efforts to support causes that are close to their hearts.

Backing a Variety of Causes

From education to healthcare, to saving the planet, we’ve got our hands in supporting all sorts of causes – we will try and be there, whether it’s helping out after a disaster, or lending a hand for a brighter future.

Making Lasting Change

When we give, we’re in it for the long haul. We team up with local partners to tackle the root issues in our communities, assisting with programs that will keep making a difference for years to come.

The Gripple Foundation

The Gripple Foundation is responsible for all our charity and community activities, and ensures that our charity donations and fundraising proceeded are put to good work.

The main aims of the Gripple Foundation are to

  • Support smaller, lesser known local charities as well as larger national charities.

  • Fundraise for our chosen Charity of the Year.

  • Get involved with ‘people power’ projects and encourage people to volunteer.

  • Form long standing community partnerships

The Gripple Foundation operates globally, with members elected to be site representatives.

Gripple Charity of the Year 2026 – Weston Park Cancer Charity

Weston Park Cancer Charity provides vital support, advice, and therapies to help people live well with and beyond cancer. Their free services are available to patients and their loved ones, offering care and comfort at every stage of the cancer journey.

In addition to direct support, the charity funds pioneering research and clinical trials led by experts at Weston Park Cancer Centre, driving progress in cancer treatment and care. United by compassion and commitment, the team works together to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.

They are currently campaigning to raise £1.85million for a dedicated MRI Simulator (the “See It. Treat It.” Appeal) which will enable much more precise scanning and targeted treatment of tumours, directly improving outcomes for patients.
