Overcome pile refusals, support existing foundations and correct misalignment using our lightweight and high performance solar ground anchors.

Gripple’s Solar Anchoring Kits deliver up to 6,060 lbs of pull-out performance, locking securely into the soil using proven technology developed for slope stabilization, civil engineering, and seismic applications worldwide.

Whether you’re facing poor soil conditions, tight deadlines, or need a contingency solution, our Solar Anchoring Kits are a reliable choice and can unlock challenging sites like brownfields or landfill areas for solar development.

Lightweight and compact, these kits are simple to transport and can be installed in minutes using just hand tools. Their minimal ground disturbance and low profile make them ideal for a range of projects.

By eliminating the need for heavy machinery and concrete foundations, our lightweight anchoring system helps significantly reduce CO2 emissions, supporting lower-impact, more sustainable solar projects.

Step 1. Position the Anchor: Insert the drive rod into the anchor tip and push the PV Anchor into the ground at the marked location.
Step 2. Drive to Depth: Use a GPD or breaker to drive the anchor to the required depth, then detach the tool from the drive rod.
Step 3. Lock the Anchor: Remove the drive rod using a JackJaw or by hand (in softer ground), then use the Anchor Set Tool to lock the anchor in place.
Step 4. Attach the Sling: Add the protective tubing to the sling, feed it through the anchor thimble, and secure it using the dynamic tensioner, leaving at least 6 inches of tail wire.
Step 5. Final Fixing: Connect the sling to your structure using either the choke or direct fixing method. Use the flag key for any final adjustments to tension.
