Gripple Cable Strut (Catenary) Kits – Flexible Overhead Suspension Made Simple

Gripple Catenary Kits provide a fast, tool-free solution for creating overhead suspension points where traditional fixings aren’t possible.

Each kit includes two Gripple Dynamic cable joiners and pre-cut, pre-fused galvanised cable, ready to tension and install straight out of the box. Ideal for spanning open spaces or historical buildings where drilling into the ceiling is restricted, the system allows you to suspend services such as ductwork, lighting, signage, acoustic panels, and more.

Used in conjunction with the Gripple C-Clip, suspension drops can be installed in seconds with a simple quarter-turn and easily repositioned along the cable. Unlike traditional U-bolt and turnbuckle systems, Gripple’s solution is faster to install, requires no hot works, and comes with tested working loads for peace of mind.

Available in 1/8″ or 1/4″ cable kits, Gripple Cable Strut (Catenary) Kits support up to 220 lbs per span and allow for suspension at angles up to 60°, making them ideal for sloped or irregular ceilings. Step 1: Insert the end of your cable into one channel of the Dynamic cable joiner.
Step 2: Loop the wire around your fixing point and back through the other wire channel to create your fixing.
Step 3: Use a hex key to lock off the Dynamic cable joiner.
Step 4: Use our Gripple C-Clip, which attaches tool-free to create suspension drops. (C-Clips sold separately).
