Fast Install, Instant Results

Underground duct banks are the lifelines of critical infrastructure, ensuring that power and data can reach from one location to its destination. But if those conduits shift or float during concrete pours or in high water tables, the whole system is at risk. That’s where Gripple comes in.

Our Duct Bank Anchoring System are designed to secure duct banks in place quickly, reliably, and without the need for complex, unsafe installation methods. Whether you’re working in soft or hard soil conditions, Gripple’s anchors deliver peace of mind and allow you to walk away from your installation without a need to worry.

Engineered for performance, our kits include pre-assembled wire systems, proven wire gripping mechanisms and corrosion-resistant anchors that bite deep into the ground and hold firm. From utility contractors to civil engineering teams, Gripple anchors have been trusted globally on industrial-level civil construction projects, such as slope stability and erosion control, for a number of years.

How it works:

Our Duct Bank Anchoring Kits have been designed to control the flotation of underground services after the concrete is poured in fast, easy and safe way. See how it works below:

1. Use the Drive Rod to install the anchor in the ground. Minimum depth 2 ft.
2. Use the JackJaw® accessory tool to remove the drive rod and set the anchor.
3. Insert cable upwards into one channel of the Gripple Dynamic lock.
4. Loop the cable through duct bank card or spacers back into the other channel of the Gripple Dynamic lock, tension the wire by hand and then lock with an Allen key.
5. Anchors are installed both sides of the pipe run at alternate cassettes to the opposing side. Finished installation secured.

Frequently Asked Questions

Gripple anchors are connected to pre-assembled wire systems with proven wire-gripping mechanisms. Once installed, the anchors bite into the soil and hold the duct bank securely in place throughout the concrete pour and curing process, reducing the uplift from buoyancy.

Gripple DBA systems are engineered for use in both soft and hard soil conditions, making them adaptable to a wide range of site environments and geotechnical challenges.
