We understand the challenges that come with managing home run cables on utility-scale solar sites, whether it’s tough terrain, tight timelines, or the need to streamline installation. That’s why we’ve developed the Gripple home run Single and Double Hangers, engineered alongside EPCs and solar electrical contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and long-lasting cable support above ground.

Designed for use with our Messenger Kit, both hangers feature a wide surface area and side-loading gates to prevent pinch point abrasion and mechanical wear, keeping cables protected from installation through to operation.

The Hangers offer UL2239 approval and robust cable protection with a 30 year design life and broad temperature tolerance, making it ideal for standard home runs. The Double Hanger features two 75 mm cavities and a modular, stackable design, capable of carrying up to four large cable bundles for high-capacity installations.

Tested in real-world conditions and developed with the installer in mind, our hangers are fast to fit, easy to use, and built to last, supporting efficient, scalable cable management across your solar project.

Download the Guide
1. Fix the Messenger Brackets Secure intermediate messenger brackets to support the catenary wire – we recommend spacing them a maximum of 10 m (32 ft) apart.
2. Thread & Tension the Wire Insert the Dynamic tensioner onto the end of the wire (1–1.2 m from the tip) and feed it through the protective sleeve. Loop the wire back through the tensioner to form a secure connection.
3. Anchor the Wire & Apply Tension Loop the wire around the first end post pile and secure it through the eye nut or fixing point. Use the Gripple tensioning tool to pull tension through the catenary. Repeat the second end post to complete the run.
4. Install the Cable Hangers Open the gate, side load onto the wire, and press down until you hear a click. Space them as needed along the span.
5. Load the Cables & Close the Gates Open the hanger gates and load in your home run cables. Once in place, simply close the gates to finish the install. Optional: Use the top holder for an additional data cable if required.
