Lobslack Nursery, Cheshire

Willmott Dixon and Carter Electrical Services utilised Gripple’s innovative range of wire and track systems to suspend electrical and mechanical services on-site at Lobslack Nursery in Northwich, Cheshire.

Lobslack Nursery is a state-of-the-art seed processing plant developed for Forestry England. The facility will play a crucial role in processing tree seeds sourced from across the UK, contributing to the sustainable management of British forests. Once fully operational, the plant will process approximately 100 million tree seeds annually.

Everything comes pre-cut, ready-to-use so there’s no cutting on-site – it gets rid of the hot works, gets rid of some of the health and safety issues that we could potentially have. Rather than keep doing the same thing we’ve been doing for years and years and years, we’ve done something different. We’ve gone to a system and it’s worked out well. We’ve ended up with a good install – it’s an end product that we’re proud of!

We’ve used the Universal Bracket to do a combined service – mechanical and electrical. The UniGrip system has been very easy to install. It just clips on – nice turn of a screw, locks it into place. It’s been very efficient.
