Amcor developed a new manufacturing unit to meet the growing demand for Unilever laundry products in India. The new facility is a metal-framed 8000 sq. meter plant which has three manufacturing lines running 24 hours a day.

Gripple was chosen to suspend HVAC ducting due to the size of the duct and the drop from the ceiling. The ducts were designed to hang at a drop of 10 meters, which was the biggest challenge. They also wanted the look to match the aesthetic of the other work on site.

Joshi Engineering utilised wire hanging in order to meet the brief as they could easily hit the 10-meter drop target and adjust quickly if they encountered any issues thanks to the quick release on the standard hanger. This choice to use a non-traditional method saved the project 13 weeks on site. The decreased installation time also led to a 54,000 INR saving on labour allowing for a more efficient site.
